A major acquirer of companies (43 as of December 2020), Philips and subsidiaries are applying AI to the biomedical diagnostic space in a variety of areas, including activity, cardiovascular, general diagnostics, respiratory and neurology. The company's most notable, recent acquisition was remote cardiac monitoring company, BioTelemetry, in December 2020. Additionally, in March of 2021 the company launched its AI-enabled Precise Suite for its Incisive CT platform.
