The present invention provides a water-soluble package comprising a water-soluble substrate and a powder coating on an exterior surface of the water-soluble substrate, wherein the water-soluble substrate encloses a composition and the powder coating includes a powdered bittering agent, a method of making such water-soluble packages and their use, in particular for washing dishes or laundering textiles.

- 1. A water-soluble package comprising a water soluble substrate and a powder coating on an exterior surface of the water-soluble substrate, wherein the water-soluble substrate encloses a composition and the powder coating includes a powdered bittering agent, wherein the powder coating includes less than 10 wt. % of a powdered lubricating agent based on the total weight of the coating powder.

A method of producing a water-soluble package, the method including the step of coating a water-soluble substrate enclosing a composition with a powder coating composition, the powder coating composition including a bittering agent and less than 10 wt. % of a lubricating agent based on the total weight of solids and/or non-volatiles in the powder coating composition.
