Scheduling Device For Customizable Electronic Notifications

Sleep alerts associated with an alarm can be scheduled using a first electronic device. Once scheduled, data can be collected from a second electronic device. This data can be used to determine an appropriate device, other than the first electronic device, at which the sleep alert can be presented. Once determined, the information can be sent to the appropriate device for presenting the sleep alert.

3 Independent Claims

  • 1. A computer-implemented method, comprising: scheduling, using an alarm associated with a first electronic device of a plurality of electronic devices, a sleep alert associated with the alarm; receiving data from a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices, the second electronic device associated with the first electronic device, the data including at least one of interaction data associated with user interactions with the second electronic device or state data associated with a state of the second electronic device; identifying another electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices at which to have the sleep alert presented based at least in part on the data received from the second electronic device; and providing information associated with the sleep alert for presentation at the identified another electronic device.

  • 9. A system, comprising: a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions; an input component; and a processor in communication with the memory and configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to perform operations comprising: receiving, via the input component, an input that schedules a sleep alert that is associated with an alarm receiving data from an electronic device of a plurality of electronic devices, the electronic device associated with the system, the data including interaction data associated with user interactions with the electronic device; identifying another electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices at which to have the sleep alert presented based at least in part on the interaction data received from the electronic device; and providing information associated with the sleep alert for presentation at the identified another electronic device.

  • 16. One or more computer-readable storage devices comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more computer systems, cause the one or more computer systems to perform operations comprising: receiving information from a first electronic device of a plurality of electronic devices, the information indicating that a sleep alert associated with an alarm been scheduled on the first electronic device; receiving data from a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices, the second electronic device associated with the first electronic device, the data including at least one of interaction data associated with user interactions with the second electronic device or state data associated with a state of the second electronic device; identifying another electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices at which to have the sleep alert presented based at least in part on the data received from the second electronic device; and providing information associated with the sleep alert for presentation at the identified another electronic device.
