Terrestrial Energy’s Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR) has been selected by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the first joint technical review of an advanced, non-light water nuclear reactor technology. The IMSR is in Phase 2 of Canadian Vendor Design Review. Terrestrial Energy was issued a US Patent for the IMSR in August 2018.
