AT&T is actively developing edge computing solutions. It provides Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), which is a computer and cellular network architecture that brings real-time, high-bandwidth, low-latency access to latency dependent mobile applications. AT&T is also testing Network Edge Compute (NEC) with cloud providers.
