Tesla vehicles are going to be able to drop you off and park themselves later this year, according to a new comment from Tesla CEO Elon Musk. While Tesla automobiles currently have a summons feature, owners have said that the "reverse smart summons" - where the driver is dropped off and the cars finds a parking space - would be much more useful. Having the car find its own space would definitely save time. Tesla is in the midst of rewriting the Tesla Autopilot, and this is reflected in its four recent patent applications. This feature and others are part of Tesla’s plan for a fleet of robotaxis.
