Paptic, a 4-year-old startup in Finland, has launched a new sustainable wood-fibre based packaging material, Paptic Tringa. According to the company, this new product is completely free from paper, non-woven, or plastic materials. Paptic has a pending patent application on biodegradable products made of fiber sheets, which indicates that it intends to compete in the US biodegradable packaging market.
