Edge (and technology) giant Intel has announced a new partnership to train the next generation of edge computing developers. Intel is partnering with Udacity to launch the Intel Edge AI for IoT Developers Nanodegree Program, which recently opened for enrollment.
The 3 month program, for which scholarships are available, is designed to provide training in deep learning and computer vision for artificial intelligence-based models on the edge and leveraging the Intel Distribution of OpenVINO toolkit. This training is part of Intel and Udacity's goal to train one million developers. Students will have the opportunity to complete three real-world projects.
The program provides an opportunity to have resumes shared, and many graduates will certainly be looking for jobs with Intel, especially if they are interested in edge computing. The company currently has 51 published IP documents in the edge computing sector, one of the largest portfolios.
