Generating Predicted Values Of Biomarkers For Scoring Food

Techniques are disclosed herein for generating personalized nutritional recommendations using predicted values of target biomarkers. Using the technologies described herein, a programmatic analysis is performed on different data to predict values of target biomarkers that are associated with an individual. Personalized nutritional recommendations are then generated, using the predicted values, and provided to the individual. The predictions are based on data that is associated with the individual, such as microbiome data, ketone data, glucose data, nutritional data, questionnaire data, and the like. A prediction service can utilize a machine learning mechanism to generate the predicted value of the target biomarkers. A nutrition service utilizes the predicted value of the target biomarkers when generating the personalized nutritional recommendations.

3 Independent Claims

  • 1. A computer-implemented method, comprising: receiving food data that indicates one or more foods to evaluate; receiving health data associated with an individual; generating, based at least in part on the food data and the health data, first predicted data that indicates a first value associated with a first target biomarker predicted after eating the food; generating, based at least in part on the food to score and the health data, second predicted data that indicates a second value associated with a second target biomarker predicted after eating the food; and causing at least a portion of the first predicted data and the second predicted data to be utilized to generate personalized nutrition data for the individual.

  • 8. A system, comprising: a data ingestion service, including one or more processors, configured to receive health data associated with an individual, and store at least a portion of the data within a data store; and a prediction service, including one or more processors, configured to access health data associated with the individual, generate, based at least in part on food data that indicates one or more foods to evaluate and the health data, first predicted data that indicates a first value associated with a first target biomarker predicted after eating the food, generate, based at least in part on the food to evaluate and the health data, second predicted data that indicates a second value associated with a second target biomarker predicted after eating the food, and cause a generation of personalized nutrition data associated for the individual based, at least in part, on the first predicted data and the second predicted data.

  • 15. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereupon which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to: access health data associated with an individual; generate, based at least in part on food data that indicates one or more foods to evaluate and the health data, first predicted data that indicates a first value associated with a first target biomarker predicted after eating the food; generate, based at least in part on the food to evaluate and the health data, second predicted data that indicates a second value associated with a second target biomarker predicted after eating the food; and cause a generation of personalized nutrition data for the individual based, at least in part, on the first predicted data and the second predicted data.
