Imergy Power Systems was based in Silicon Valley, California. The company produced flow batteries in order to commercialize a long-duration energy storage solution. In 2016, the company entered ABC insolvency and terminated the contracts of all its staff. An advisory firm, Sherwood Partners, sold off many of Imergy's assets, including IP, though many of its patents have not been assigned to a new company.
