1. A method for improving the tear resistance of a tire tread rubber composition, comprising (3) (3)

incorporating about 5 to 30 phr of plant-sourced oil wherein the only plant-sourced oil consists of hemp oil into at least one rubber to form a rubber composition,

wherein the at least one rubber is present in an amount of only 100 parts and consists of 100% by weight of least one of styrene-butadiene copolymer, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, natural rubber, and styrene-isoprene copolymer and

the tire tread rubber composition includes at least one reinforcing filler in an amount of about 5 to about 200 phr, at least one antioxidant, and a cure package including a sulfur-based curative.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the amount of hemp oil comprises about 5 to about 10 phr. (1) (0)

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one reinforcing filler includes at least one of silica or carbon black. (1) (0)

7. The method of claim 1, wherein 0 phr of non-reinforcing filler are incorporated into the rubber composition. (0)

A tire tread comprising a rubber composition comprising at least one rubber, 5 to 30 phr of plant-sourced oil wherein the only plant-sourced oil consists of hemp oil, at least one reinforcing filler in an amount of 5 to 200 phr, at least one antioxidant, and a cure package including a sulfur-based curative, wherein the at least one rubber is present in an amount of only 100 parts and 100% by weight consists of at least one of styrene-butadiene copolymer, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, natural rubber, and styrene-isoprene copolymer. 9. The tire tread of claim 8, wherein the amount of hemp oil is 5 to 10 phr. (0)

10. The tire tread of claim 8, wherein at least 60% by weight of the at least one rubber is styrene-butadiene copolymer. (0)

11. The tire tread of claim 8, wherein 100% by weight of the at least one rubber comprises at least one of styrene-butadiene copolymer, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, and natural rubber. (1) (0)

15. The tire tread of claim 8 further comprising at least one reinforcing filler in an amount of greater than 50 to 200 phr. (2) (0)

18. The tire tread of claim 8, comprising 1 to 5 phr of the sulfur-based curative. (0)

19. A tire comprising the tire tread of claim 8. (0)

20. The tire tread of claim 8, wherein the rubber composition includes 0 phr of non-reinforcing filler. (0)
