1. A method for improving the tear resistance of a tire tread rubber composition, comprising

A tire tread comprising a rubber composition comprising at least one rubber, 5 to 30 phr of plant-sourced oil wherein the only plant-sourced oil consists of hemp oil, at least one reinforcing filler in an amount of 5 to 200 phr, at least one antioxidant, and a cure package including a sulfur-based curative, wherein the at least one rubber is present in an amount of only 100 parts and 100% by weight consists of at least one of styrene-butadiene copolymer, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, natural rubber, and styrene-isoprene copolymer.
