1. A biodegradable sheet, having at least one layer, wherein the layer comprises a first hydrophobic polymer selected from the group consisting of poly(epsilon-caprolactone) (PCL), a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) and a mixture thereof, and a second hydrophobic polymer selected from the group consisting of polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA), poly lactic acid (PLA), polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT), polydioxanone (PDO), polyglycolic acid (PGA) and any mixture thereof, (7) (1)

wherein said first hydrophobic polymer is present in said at least one layer in an amount of about 30% w/w.

2. The biodegradable sheet according to claim 1, wherein the first hydrophobic polymer is PCL. (0)

3. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein said second hydrophobic polymer is selected from the group consisting of PLA, PBS, PBSA and PBAT. (0)

4. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein said second hydrophobic polymer comprises PLA. (0)

5. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein said first hydrophobic polymer comprises PCL and said second hydrophobic polymer comprises PLA. (0)

6. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein said second hydrophobic polymer is a mixture of PBS and PBSA, a mixture of PBS and PLA, a mixture of PBSA and PLA or a mixture of PBAT and PLA. (0)

7. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein the sheet is a single-layered sheet. (0)

8. The biodegradable sheet of claim 1, wherein the sheet is a multi-layered sheet. (1) (0)

9. The biodegradable sheet of claim 8, wherein the multi-layered sheet consists of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 layers. (3) (0)

10. The biodegradable sheet of claim 9, wherein the sheet is a two-layered sheet. (0)

11. The biodegradable sheet of claim 9, wherein the sheet is a three-layered sheet. (1) (0)

12. The biodegradable sheet of claim 11, wherein said three-layered sheet comprises at least one layer comprising about 100% w/w PBS or about 100% w/w PBSA. (1) (0)

13. The biodegradable sheet of claim 12, comprising a first layer, a second layer and a third layer wherein said second layer is situated between said first layer and said third layer. (1) (0)

14. The biodegradable sheet of claim 13, wherein said first hydrophobic polymer and said second hydrophobic polymer are present in said second layer. (2) (0)

15. The biodegradable sheet of claim 14, wherein at least one of said first layer and said third layer comprises about 100% w/w PBSA. (1) (0)

18. The biodegradable sheet of claim 14, wherein at least one of said first layer and said third layer comprises about 100% w/w PBS. (1) (0)

20. The biodegradable sheet of claim 9, wherein the sheet is a five-layered sheet. (0)
