Last fall, Continental unveiled its VF TractorMaster Hybrid tire which minimizes soil compaction in the field and reduces tire wear while on public roads.  Continental’s very high-flexion (VF) tires can be used at lower pressure in the field and at higher pressure for highway transport while carrying the same load. The IoT system uses machine artificial-intelligence (AI) and remote sensing (IoT) to adjust tires without operator engagement. Continental has about 100 issued patents in this sector.
